Miami City Guide - The Art Deco South Beach
Art Deco came about in the 1920’s almost as a reaction to the First World War and the austerity people had lived with for so long. It took a while, but in the 1930’s this movement reached Miami’s south beach and influenced the buildings that were being built here at the time. What was produced was a neighbourhood that stands today as a proud memory to the architectural revolution of the art deco movement.
