• June 4 - Saturday Nite Alive 2011 - A1A from Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach to Atlantic Hotel. From 7pm to 11pm. Featuring 20 live performers, 30 restaurants, 24 clubs/lounges, free trolley and free/discounted parking. Free Sun-Trolley.
• June 9 - Join award-winning filmmaker, Ken Burns, for a night of gangsters, rumrunners, flappers and speakeasies at the screening of Ken Burns new film, Prohibition , at 6:30 p.m. at the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, at 201 SW 5th Avenue. Burns will lead a discussion on the film with local experts on the topics of democracy and civility, which he explores in this film. He will answer audience questions after the screening. • June 16 - The Las Olas Association, in partnership with several major Fort Lauderdale cultural organizations, is proud to host a monthly "Art Walk" on the boulevard to celebrate the emerging arts and cultural creativity of Las Olas Boulevard and Downtown Fort Lauderdale.
