Oprah Sued for $1 Trillion!

Oprah. A thief? According to www.PerezHilton.com and the www.NationalEnquirer.com, talk show queen and mega mogul Oprah Winfrey is being sued for an astronomical amount of money by an author who claims she stole his work.

Damon Lloyd Goffe is suing Oprah and her production company, Harpo, for a whopping 1.2 trillion dollars.

In the suit filed July 31, Goffe alleges that Oprah stole material from his work titled “A Tome of Poetry” and published it under the name, “Pieces of My Soul.” It’s been estimated that 650 million copies of the re-titled material have been sold and since Goffe is asking for 20 dollars per copy, that would force even the “Big O” to trade in her Bentley for a Hyundai.

The cherry on top of this seemingly sinful sundae is that the legal papers also claim "in April 2008 Oprah confessed to seizing original works of authorship."
